I notice you have great pictures of Winston, Charlotte, and of course Raleigh, but why not some Greensboro pictures? It’s a real nice city I think it would be great to look at in this collection of cities you have.

  2. Brenda Toe Says:

what happen to the pictures of Greensboro

  3. ????? Says:

Greensboro sucks losers Raleigh is growing very fast!!! not like Greensboro

  4. ric davis Says:

greensboro is growing city of 260,000 plus is pretty good not as fast as raleigh , has a great downtown nite life , fed ex hub on the way

  5. ~~~~~ Says:

Still Raleigh has a better quality of life and been ranked #1 best city to live, work, and play by FORBES

  6. Ernest Says:

I think that GSO has a great future in terms of its downtown fabric. There is plenty of areas to redevelop in an urban manner, particularly to the East and at the NW tip, near the stadium. Elm Str is simply a gem, IMO, but time has come to see developments along other parallel streets. Southside contains some good urbanity and once a better connection with the CBD is established it will be an impressive downtown.

Thanks for the skyline shot, Matt. I do hope to see more of GSO in the future, particularly now that the former Wachovia Bldg has been redeveloped.

To the person who says greensboro sucks you are mistakeingly wrong greensboro its a great place i know i live here and shure its not over 300,000 like raleigh but its got a sizeable population well over a qurter million and still gso its contuineing to grow

  8. Greg Says:

Greensboro, Raliegh, Winston -Salem, they all are similar to me. Nice places to live and raise a family. Suprisingly, Greensboro, seems to have the best nightlife even though it’s downtown is probally the smallest. Goes to show that tall buildings and big populations aren’t everything.

  9. david Says:

which city is bigger wilmington or winston salem

  10. Tim Says:

I agree with the posters comments above. More tall buildings and a SLIGHTLY larger population doesn’t make a city better. after Charlotte, Greensboro has the second best downtown nightlife in the state of North Carolina. Greensboro must be doing something right.

  11. Tim Says:

I also agree that you need more photos of downtown Greensboro. You can take grat photos along Elm Street and at Center-City Park where there are cool water fountains that arch over the walkway. There is SO much in downtown Greensboro that you have not photographed. Check out the Southside area of downtown where you’ll find restaurants and townhomes that look like the French Quarter in New Orleans. I can’t believe you dont have more photos of Greensboro!

  12. Ordoss_16 Says:

greensboro is freaking guetto city, cant go downtown, its so stinking scary
It used to be a great city up until 2008 then shit happened, its horrible now

  13. Mark. Says:

Raleigh Sucks in the Worse way Possible.. Winston-Salem is way better than Raleigh..Plus there is much more to do there than Raleigh. Although Public transit is terrible in these cities,Winston and Raleigh have some good points like cost of living, schools, etc….But needs to work on its City Bus system….its Horrible.

  14. Carolinablue Says:

Beautiful red R8 spyder, i always see such nice cars around in and around greensboro. also downtown seems to be under a construction boom with 4 new developments planned, 2 over 9 stories and a new downtown university. along with the GPAC, keep at it GSO.

  15. Carolinablue Says:

So much construction going on downtown, and so much activity, The downtown is rather small(for now) but man is it teaming with so much life, plus the new construction will extend the core of downtown to the ball park, it’s definitely mini booming, can’t wait to see the new tower on elm street in the skyline. also, great new pictures of GSO, the LFG building is definitely in the top 10 of my favorite towers in NC, love the design.

Greensboro Downtown is rapidly changing before our eyes, Once again.

  16. GSOcitizen Says:

Proposed 561 foot 44 story mixed used office tower for Dowtown Greensboro

to be Built By Roy Carrol who is also currently building the 4 acre 9 story bellemeade village infront of the downtown baseball stadium. Roy carrols has been buying up property and transforming downtown greensboro for 10 years now.

City pointe condo tower phase II is also looking to get built, standing at 350 feet tall and 28 stories, it will be the third tallest building in greensboro behind the LFG and Project 561. Center pointe phase II will sit adjacent to the completed Center pointe phase 1 which stands at 289 feet tall.

The tower will be taller than the RBC plaza in Raleigh by 35 feet and the 5th tallest tower in the state behind Charlotte.

Greensboro also has a 15 store hotel tower currently being built.

I beileve greensboro just walked past Raleigh and Winston with this announcement.

  17. AS Jones Says:

Greensboro looks pretty good for a city. I would like pictures and information about A & T college. My family will be traveling from Wash., DC and Atlanta Ga. in Oct., 2015 for A&T’s HOMECOMING. We hope to enjoy the whole city
