Well, one thing is for sure, no matter what people elsewhere design or come up with, New York City, was, is and will be the CITY where you ll be inspired and get the batteries of any single spirit on this planet reloaded. Just so beautifully done and so beautiful this city itself, that no words can describe its beauty and perfection.
I just yesterday saw this TV documantary called `Marvels of the East` regarding the skyscrapers and architecture throughout Asia and especially Shanghai, China, but believe me, after watching this picture, I am sure Shanghai never ever will be able to compete New York City or even take over its most famous role, being the cetner of Commerce and all the good events of Planet Earth.
Thank you Matt, I am flying over the city, while sitting on my chair at my desk at work, watching these beautiful pictures.

You know, I used to live in the Big Apple, and I’ll say this much; you successfully captured the essence of why I had to deal with tourists in commutes, why they were awed, why I loved the city, and why I long for it. You managed to take snapshots of a city’s heart. Hats off to you.
I only wish you’d gotten some other night pictures from uptown maybe or Chinatown/ Little Italy. But then again, time is precious and limited. At any rate, these are some stellar photos
April 22nd, 2009 at 12:58 pm
