I also agree that you need more photos of downtown Greensboro. You can take grat photos along Elm Street and at Center-City Park where there are cool water fountains that arch over the walkway. There is SO much in downtown Greensboro that you have not photographed. Check out the Southside area of downtown where you'll find restaurants and townhomes that look like the French Quarter in New Orleans. I can't believe you dont have more photos of Greensboro!

I agree with the posters comments above. More tall buildings and a SLIGHTLY larger population doesn't make a city better. after Charlotte, Greensboro has the second best downtown nightlife in the state of North Carolina. Greensboro must be doing something right.

Greensboro, Raliegh, Winston -Salem, they all are similar to me. Nice places to live and raise a family. Suprisingly, Greensboro, seems to have the best nightlife even though it's downtown is probally the smallest. Goes to show that tall buildings and big populations aren't everything.

I think that GSO has a great future in terms of its downtown fabric. There is plenty of areas to redevelop in an urban manner, particularly to the East and at the NW tip, near the stadium. Elm Str is simply a gem, IMO, but time has come to see developments along other parallel streets. Southside contains some good urbanity and once a better connection with the CBD is established it will be an impressive downtown.

Thanks for the skyline shot, Matt. I do hope to see more of GSO in the future, particularly now that the former Wachovia Bldg has been redeveloped.

I notice you have great pictures of Winston, Charlotte, and of course Raleigh, but why not some Greensboro pictures? It's a real nice city I think it would be great to look at in this collection of cities you have.
